Solution Overview

Implementation Details

Calendar Connection:

• Users could connect their personal or organizational calendars to the VMS.

• Calendar preferences (availability, busy/free status) were configured.

Appointment Synchronization:

• When a visitor booked an appointment, a corresponding calendar event was created in the host’s calendar.
• Event details included visitor name, organization, purpose of visit, and meeting location.
• Real-time updates were pushed to the calendar to reflect changes in appointment status.

Meeting Room Booking:

• Integration with meeting room booking systems allowed for automatic room reservation based on appointment details.
• Users could select preferred meeting rooms, and the system would check availability and book accordingly.
